If you are looking for information about the pros and cons of latex mattresses, you are in the right place. My research team has collected data from more than 100 latex bed owners, including what the owner likes and dislikes about the mattresses.

Advantage of latex mattresses

The first and most important advantage of latex mattresses that are comfortable. In fact, found more than 85% of the owner's bed to be comfortable. For comparison, the beds, resulting mainly from memory foam, air and water for about 80% are produced in accordance with our research. I innerspring mattresses only the result of about 60%.

In addition, the beds are usually considered permanently to their respective owners. However, there are several cases of premature sagging. A gasification and hot to sleep and do not tend to be a big problem.

Disadvantages of latex mattresses

The biggest disadvantage of latex mattresses, which are usually more expensive. Expect to pay several thousand dollars for a high quality latex mattress. It is not clear whether prices will fall in the future.

Other disadvantage is that the mattress is not much track record, at least in the United States. If you have to research online, you may have a lot of good information about latex beds, at least compared to what exists on the box spring beds, memory foam beds and air mattresses.

This means that, consider if you buy a mattress made of latex, you are going to to be a little early adopter or a pioneer, because not too many people have bought so far, a latex mattress, at least should be compared to other mattress types.
