I would highly recommend this NovaForm Mattress. I shopped around forever before deciding on this. Between this and another mattress, which cost twice as much, NovaForm won me over completely. I used to get sore lower back and neck muscles when I woke up, but no longer! There are a bunch of great reviews on another site (can't remember which). If your local store has this, try it out first and you'll love it!
NovaForm Mattress is the perfect mattress who likes a really "squishy" mattress that you just sink into. If you need a more supportive mattress, this bed will probably cause you aches and pains- it's squishiness seemed to let my hips sink in too much which threw my spinal alignment off...I woke up with a very sore back and hips. It does take the pressure points away however, and I did like that aspect of it. I think what I might do is purchase a quality interspring or air mattress and then add their foam topper on top, because I did like the way that it took the pressure points away, but I need more support underneith.
While not really comfortable for side sleeping (for those with sensitive backs), I did find that laying on my back felt pretty good, so if you're a back sleeper you might like it. (unfortunately I can't sleep on my back) The materials seemed to be of good quality I suppose, and the mattress did expand properly in a short matter of hours. (althought there is a lingering chemically smell that begins to dissapate after a few days) So mixed results, but the bottom line is that I can't sleep on it, so for now I'm using my old Aerobed standby until I get something else. But who knows, it could be someone else's perfect bed.See Prices Here :
